Q: What size is the company?
A: Thai Watana Panich Press Co., Ltd. (TWP) employs approximately 450 staff. Many of our employees have been with the company all of their adult life and enjoy working in a family owned company in an atmosphere of team spirit.
Q: Do you have extensive plant and premises?
A: Our 11,000 square metre facility in Bangkok houses a wide variety of plant and equipment ranging from a state-of-the-art 4-color KBA 105 sheet fed press through to 4/4 commercial web units. In total TWP has 3 web unit and 12 sheet-fed single, two, four and 5-colour presses. Our Binding covers most finishing processes, including case-making and casing-in. All under the one roof! Q: Is there a language problem?
A: No - Our "front- end" management are fluent in English and the export marketing team includes a native English speaker. The production management team have good English language competence.
Q: Do you have export experience?
A: Yes - Visit our Export Experience page and view the countries to which we are exporting. Our Logistics Department has extensive knowledge of freight forwarding, shipping, customs and export documentation.
Q: What product range do you cover?
A: Case bound / Limp bound books, directories, magazines, diaries, calendars, catalogue, posters. All of which can be single or multi-color.
Q: Do you operate International standards?
A: Yes - In 1999 TWP achieved ISO 9001 Certification followed four years later by ISO 9001:2000, ensuring that we adhere to universally accepted management and production procedures. Also, our computerised cost, estimating and production control system (HiFlex) was imported from Europe and translated into Thai to ensure the participation of all personnel.
Q: Do you carry paper stock?
A: No - It is inefficient to do so. We operate the "Just in Time" principle ensuring maximum possible cost savings on a very expensive commodity. Thailand now has improved paper-production capability for both coated and woodfree stock, and stocks of imported grades are readily available.
Q: Is the foreign exchange rate a problem?
A: No - We are prepared to quote, contract and invoice in US $ or Euro etc.
